The mBooster is a different category, where the CRP2 is a passive pedal using springs, dampers, physical resistance the mBooster replaces the brake unit with a direct-drive servo motor and ball screw, making every aspect of pedal feel a software parameter. Travel, resistance, damping are all adjustable through Pit House, no tools, no disassembly. In practice, that means you can switch from a soft road car brake to a rock-hard Formula 1 pedal in a single click. It also means the pedal can deliver real-time telemetry effects ABS pulsation, wheel lockup cues, traction control vibration — which changes how you interact with the car at the limit. The mBooster is designed to slot into the CRP2 ecosystem, replacing the brake unit while the CRP2 throttle and clutch handle the passive side. Build quality is all-metal aluminium alloy, with the same 200kg load cell and 15-bit angle sensor pairing from the CRP2. The pricing is roughly half the cost of the Simucube equivalent, which was previously the only serious active pedal option on the market.
